Can a rented vehicle make use of a route permit issued to the customer for the same type of vehicle?

A route permit will be granted to the applicant, who may use it within the period of validity for the same route for port vehicles of the same category, in the same composition and up to the same maximum dimensions, mass and axle loads.

A renter may apply for a route permit for a rented vehicle and may also add it on to an existing route permit if the rented vehicle(s) are of the same type and mass already stated on the existing route permit.
