Port of Antwerp-Bruges (hereinafter referred to as "POAB", "we" or "us") attaches great importance to the protection of personal data. Personal Data is all the information about an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter the "data subject", "you" or "your"). We will always protect your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or "GDPR") including any applicable current or future national or international legislation implementing or replacing the GDPR (hereinafter collectively "Applicable Privacy Legislation").
This notification on the processing of your personal data (hereinafter "Privacy Statement") was drawn up to clearly inform you about the processing of your personal data and your rights as a data subject. The data subject is obliged to provide the personal data to calculate harbour dues and payments under the cost coverage system. If the individual does not provide any personal data, he or she cannot use drinking water bunkering.
Port of Antwerp-Bruges processes personal data originating from vessel owners. So the owner sends us either their own data or data about the third-party payer. Port of Antwerp-Bruges has no other sources of personal data.
Sporadically, upon explicit request, personal data will be passed on to government services, such as the City Port Authority, waterway police and Flemish Waterways.
Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).

Port of Antwerp-Bruges shall retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in Article 3. After that time, the personal data shall be deleted/anonymised.
