The Nautical Port Map is specifically designed for nautical operational users in the ports of Antwerp and Zeebrugge. It serves as a valuable tool for various target groups, including:

Contents of the Nautical Port Map

The map provides detailed information about the port infrastructure. Below is an overview of the key data:

Berths and nautical information

  • Berths for ADN tankers: Specific information about waiting berths for ADN tank barges with or without blue cone(s).
  • Service quays: Locations with services aimed at inland shipping.
  • Waste parks: Locations for the sustainable and collectible collection of ship waste from inland shipping.
  • Drinking water points: Locations of drinking water supplies.
  • Shore power points: Locations of shore power connection points.

Restrictions for maritime shipping

  • Maximum permitted draft: The maximum draft a vessel may have to be admitted to the berth.
  • Minimum UKC (Under Keel Clearance): Minimum space under the vessel's keel.
  • Vessel dimensions: Information on permitted vessel width and length.
  • Berth specifications: Specifications for mooring at the quay, such as mandatory mooring side and maximum mooring width.

Water-bound infrastructure

  • Berths: Detailed information on berths in the port.
  • Docks, bridges and locks: Information about passageways and waterways in the port.

How do I use the Nautical Port Map?

Below is an overview of the main features of the nautical port map and the corresponding places on the map where these features are available:

Navigate to preferred platform

Select Antwerp or Zeebrugge.

Consult coordinates of a location

At the bottom right, the coordinates of the location where your cursor is located are displayed.

Left navigation

The left navigation consists of 4 tabs:

  • First tab: Here you determine what data is displayed on the map by checking the desired layers.
  • Second tab: This contains the map legend.
  • Third tab: Use the search function to find moorings, docks, locks or companies.
  • Fourth tab: Consult the descriptions of mooring data here.

Buttons at the top right

At the top right of the map there are four buttons:

  • Button 1 "Datafiche ligplaatsen": Consult the mooring data sheet by searching for the mooring number.
  • Button 2 "Tekenen": Draw on the map to add indications.
  • Button 3 "Coördinaatconversie": Search for a coordinate on the map.
  • Button 4 "Meten": Measure distances and areas on the map.

Tip for English users:
You can easily translate the map into English by right-clicking anywhere on the text and selecting "Translate to English." This option is available in most modern browsers, such as Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge.
