1. Application of this statement
This Privacy Statement applies to the processing of personal data of any individual (hereinafter referred to as the "Reporter") who submits their information via POAB's Reporting and Information Point.

Port of Antwerp-Bruges (hereinafter referred to as "POAB", "we", "us") attaches great importance to the protection of personal data. Personal Data are all the information about an identified or identifiable natural person (hereinafter the "data subject", "you", or "your"). We will always protect your personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation or "GDPR") including any applicable current or future national or international legislation implementing or replacing the GDPR (hereinafter collectively "Applicable Privacy Legislation").
This notification on the processing of your personal data (hereinafter "Privacy Statement") was drawn up to clearly inform you about the processing of your personal data and your rights as a data subject. (*) The Reporter has the option to submit reports anonymously, except for queries or reports related to sustainability, innovation, and/or GDPR, where providing the requested information is necessary to respond to the data subject's inquiry.
(**) For reports related to safety/security, roadworks, road salt, damage/defects, floating waste, or nuisances, providing a location is mandatory.
4.1. POAB processes only the personal data directly provided by the Reporter.
In compliance with Applicable Privacy Legislation, your personal data may be shared with regulatory bodies and enforcement authorities.
Your personal data will not be transferred outside the European Economic Area (EEA).
POAB will retain your personal data for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in Article 3. After that time, the personal data shall be deleted.
