Notification of arrival/departure dangerous goods

As a terminal operator, you must report to the Harbour Master's Office when hazardous goods arrive at or depart from a container terminal. You do so through a digital process, ensuring that all information is submitted correctly and in a timely manner.

How does it work?

As a terminal operator, you report any movement of hazardous goods at the container terminals to the Harbour Master's Office. Supplement the notifications from freight forwarders and shipping agents via the IFTDGN notification with actual handling times. You do so using specific terminal notifications:

  • COARRI unloading: unloading of goods from the seagoing vessel.
  • COARRI loading: loading of goods on board the seagoing vessel.
  • CODECO in: transport of goods to the terminal by truck, inland navigation vessel or rail.
  • CODECO out: transport of goods from the terminal by truck, inland navigation vessel or rail.

What are the benefits?

  • Clear overview: The Harbour Master's Office always has an up-to-date overview of the status of hazardous goods at the terminal.
  • Complete and accurate: All necessary information is shared digitally and in real-time.
  • Maximum safety: The safety files of both seagoing vessels and terminals are always up-to-date.
