APICS (Advanced Port Information and Control System) is the system behind the operational services at Port of Antwerp-Bruges. With this advanced port information system, we plan, direct and monitor shipping traffic to, from and within the port like a well-oiled machine. Depending on the target audience, there are several apps that feed and enhance APICS.
APICS desk
Shipping agents let Antwerp-Bruges Port Authority know when and where which seagoing vessel is expected. It is important to submit orders for sea, river and port services on time. This is essential for smooth and safe operational handling.
As Maritime Single Window (MSW), the system transmits all necessary information to the services concerned. These include vessel waste reports, ISPS reports, health declarations, crew and passenger lists or customs declarations.
To meet these MSW requirements, the APICS desk was extended for the Ports of Liège, Brussels and the important approaches along the Brussels-Scheldt Canal, the Upper Zeescheldt and the Albert Canal.
APICS Bunker notifications
Bunker companies or operators can easily report their scheduled bunker notifications in a timely manner through this app. For those who want to automate this reporting requirement, we offer a dedicated API so that reports can be submitted electronically.
APICS Terminal Planner
The scheduling of ships at the terminal is carried out using the APICS Terminal Planner. Terminal operators thus offer our Port Planners insight into the mooring plans of expected vessels. In return, we ensure transparency in travel planning. Thus, the terminals know exactly when a ship is expected at the dock and when it can depart again.
APICS Barge
APICS Barge is the leading app for inland navigation operators and skippers. It allows you to perfectly track your inland navigation trips, book a lock and even request a passage along the construction site zone during the Oosterweel works. The map also shows you where you can dock, making your stay at the port much easier!
