As terminal manager, you use the digital tool Terminal Planner to efficiently schedule ships calling at your terminal. The web application is part of APICS (Antwerp Port Information and Control System).

With Terminal Planner, you simplify the (labour-intensive) planning process, both for terminal managers and port planners. This allows everyone to work more efficiently and significantly reduces the risk of errors.

All water-related terminals in the port of Antwerp can use Terminal Planner after you register for APICS.

How does it work?

As a terminal manager, you can set up your schedule directly in the user-friendly application. You can also upload a planning file from your own system. Once the schedule is made, based on an (approved) place request in APICS, you can access the ship's travel plan. Likewise, the estimated time of departure (ETD) is automatically adjusted once the ship is included in the departure planning.

Through the ‘Port Planning’ dashboard, you get a clear overview of all released locks and the expected arrival and departure times of seagoing vessels in the tidal port.
